Weekend Training Tip – Liam

Mix in strides to your training. What fun is it to run if you can’t go fast? I like to to do strides towards the end of my run, so if I’m going 45 minutes, I’ll stop and do some at 40 minutes so I have 5 minutes of cooling down. And the strides can be really any speed. Some days I go fast, some days I go slow. Mix in some barefoot ones if you can get on a nice grassy field. Mixing in strides makes me feel fast, which in turn makes me feel good.
