New Jersey native living in Florida. I started running late in life as a hobby but I'm stoked that this track club has sprung up in my old stomping grounds. I spent the first 25 years of my life in Somerset and Middlesex counties. I'll def keep up with you guys via the blog. Is anyone coming down to Jacksonville for the Gate River Run 15K on March 9?

Yes, yes, yes! Athletes struggle daily with trusting their body - body image, injury potential, finding the strength/speed they never knew they had & more on our minds every day! I think it's a lifetime work in progress, but every step along the way feels like an accomplishment! Excited to see how far your body takes you!

As a Jersey runner, I love your blog. I do have one thing to add as a Cherry Hill resident. Cherry Hill High School East has a great all weather track, built about 4 years ago. I still go to Haddonfield to train with my SJAC buds, but it's there if I need. Keep running, Erin. You are one of our special SJ heroes.

Erin - this is perhaps the most eloquent plug for NJ tourism and living I have read. You are making me miss it! Thanks for writing this and best of luck in your training and competing. Emily Ward GCHS XC / Track ('04).
